Safety Training Seminars

Amazing, clean, and fun set-up! I truly enjoyed my training session and the accompanying online material. I would 100% recommend Safety Training Seminars and their Oakland-Piedmont location.

The company sends lots of detailed emails laying out the course requirements, parking, and door codes. I found the prep videos really hopefully! This was my first time using a VAM for my BLS and I enjoyed it. I feel like I was able to get good feedback for the depth and rate of my compressions. The process was smooth and fast, also highlighting the 2025 AHA BLS changes. I would highly recommend!

A relatively easy process, I would do it with them again. The hybrid online/onsite was convenient. The skills portion is done at their test site via Zoom–no instructor onsite–this was fine. The test site room was cramped and the setup of using your own phone for Zoom and attaching it to an articulating arm with the camera pointed at the mannequins is wonky. I repeatedly adjusted my screen so I could see the instructor and then readjusting so the instructor could see the skills performance is less than ideal. In a room that already has video cameras and a computer it seems like they could do better.

It was great, I misinterpreted the hands on portion, believing that i could show up at any time during the two hour window. So i was late for the zoom call but the instructor was great in accommodating me after the others finished!

Clear online training modules, responsive staff. Changing my mannikin test date and time was easy to do, and staff responded quickly! Appreciate this local, reliable company for all my BLS and (previously) ACLS needs! Also appreciated the add=ons for online training in opioid overdose management, first aid for pets, and bloodborne pathogens.

Overall is was a good experience. I prefer to do this type of training in person with other participants, but the set up was ok. Make sure your phone is fully charged when you arrive. The instructor was clear and effective.

This is my first PALS and BLS class without an instructor so it was an interesting experience. The room was a single room with an adult and pediatric mannequin. I did struggle at the beginning without an instructor physically there to guide me and I eventually called the help line but they were very quick in answering and helped my technique through the camera. This location does have its own parking lot, which is nice. The class was a little hard to find but once you park in the lot, you go through the awning and the building is shared with a massage business (Back to Center). The room was nicely cooled with a fan and had everything you need to complete the training and certification.

Did my BLS course through this organization. Having to go in solo with a virtual assistant was a bit unusual, but it wasn't a bad experience. I would have at least preferred that a receptionist was available however, there was phone support available during my time. I am very satisfied with the course given, it was in depth and provided valuable exercise. I would very much refer this service to others.
